But I have changed the drawing mode to basic, and unchecked "Use Graphics Processor to Accelerate Computation”, and unchecked "Use OpenCL”. I cannot honestly say I have tried EVERY possible PS Performance combination. So, after creating a safety backup image of my primary partition, I have been trying to isolate the conditions which trigger the blue screen. I did forward a copy of the crash dump to AMD, and yes I am hopeful that the next beta or RC will be more stable for my situation. Really kind of disappointed at the lack of Adobe response since this has been such a widespread problem with this release. Reinstall the Dell Drivers, Uninstall cc 2014 and live with CS6 and previous CC Versions (Likely)ģ.Hope Adobe issues a patch (Unlikely, but also frustrating since EVERY OTHER Adobe product I have works with this graphics card/Dell driver combination!)Ĥ.Wait for and hope AMD's next official release is more stable than the Beta 14.6 AND will install on the Dell OEM HD 7570 (possible)ĥ.Pony up for a new Graphics Card (Possible, but given the fact the card I have now is on the Adobe "acceptable" list, would be concerned about running into this again somewhere down the road)Īll in all, have spent more time on this than the new CC 2014 features warrant for me personally. So, the GOOD NEWS is the issue has definitely been diagnosed as an issue with the graphics card the BAD news is that for right now (at least for me) the AMD Beta driver (which is the only driver besides the outdated/unsupported Dell drivers that will install) is unstable.Ģ. I have owned this PC for almost 2-years and cannot recall EVER having a BlueScreen crash before this week. However, 14.6 Beta has proven unstable and my entire PC has Blue-screened 4 times since installing two days ago. Per the experience and advice of others on this thread, I installed the BETA version 14.6 AMD Catalyst software and it did indeed install and allow PS CC 2014 to load and run. The "Official" current AMD drivers will not install on the Dell OEM version of the Radeon 7570. Selecting a region changes the language and/or content on, Full Disclosure: Dell OptiPlex 9010 and AMD Radeon HD 7570 with Dual Monitors, i7 with 32GB RAM.
